2025 - Green Sea Turtle - Swimming in Coral Reef with Pearlescent Back - Ocean Creatures Series - Limited Release Pin With Magnet
🧲 Includes Magnetic Adapters for Easy Display
This original design features a green sea turtle. Why is it not green? Great question! Green sea turtles are not named for the color of their shells, but rather for the green color of their fat, which is due to their diet of seagrass and algae. It's confusing, we know!
About the Green Sea Turtle:
Sea turtles are among the ocean’s most ancient and resilient creatures, having existed for over 100 million years. These gentle creatures are essential to maintaining the health of coral reefs and seagrass beds. Despite their importance, most sea turtle species are currently threatened or endangered due to habitat loss, plastic pollution, birthing periods, and climate change.
