About The Llama:
Llamas are gentle, intelligent camelids originally domesticated in the Andes mountains of South America. For thousands of years they’ve been used as pack animals, valued for their soft, warm fleece and calm temperament. Llamas are highly social and communicate through body language, ears held forward signal curiosity, while pinned back ears mean they’d prefer some space. Known for their iconic “spit” when annoyed, well treated llamas are usually friendly, expressive companions who thrive in herds and help protect flocks from predators.
