Design Services: Overview

Ever thought about having your own pin, but not sure where to start? Our Design Lab takes your logo, artwork, or even a rough sketch and turns it into factory ready enamel pin files. We specialize in designing specifically for enamel pins, so your idea not only looks great on screen but also produces clean lines, readable details, and beautiful colors in metal.

Every design service includes a production ready vector file (Adobe Illustrator AI & PDF), a clear digital pin mockup, sizing and plating notes, and color callouts. You can send these files to your existing manufacturer, or choose to have us handle sampling and production through our trusted partners. Logo to Pin: Vector Clean Up & Simplification $25
This option is perfect if you already have a logo or simple artwork and just need it translated into a clean, pin ready design. We’ll refine your logo for enamel production, simplify any details that won’t translate well to metal, and set up a crisp vector file that keeps your brand recognizable on a small pin.

You’ll receive a factory ready AI/PDF file, a flat color mockup, and suggested metal finish and sizing. We also include pantone color callouts so your manufacturer can match your brand colors as closely as possible.

Digital Artwork to Vector: Redraw & Prep $55
Choose this service if you have digital artwork (for example: a JPEG, PNG, Procreate file, or other non vector art) and you need it converted into a proper vector pin design. We will carefully redraw your art, adjust line weights, and fine-tune details so the final piece is enamel friendly.

You’ll receive a vectorized version of your artwork set up as an enamel pin: outlines, fill areas, suggested plating, and pantone color callouts. This is ideal for artists or brands who already have finished art but need it rebuilt in a production ready format.

From Sketch or Photo to Custom Pin Design $125
Have a rough sketch, mood board, or a reference photo of an animal, building, logo, or character you want as a pin? This service turns your idea into a polished, original enamel pin design. We’ll interpret your sketch or reference materials, propose a clear layout, and build a design that feels on brand for your location, museum, or shop.

You’ll receive a final vector design with one round of refinement included, along with color suggestions, recommended size, and a mockup that makes it easy to visualize the finished pin. This is a great fit for mascots, landmarks, exhibits, or gift shop exclusives.

Complex Concept or Multi Piece Set $250
This option is best for bigger projects: multi pin sets, detailed scenes, map style designs, or highly intricate illustrations. We’ll work with your concepts and references to plan out the composition, break designs into multiple pins if needed, and make sure everything is achievable in metal and enamel.

You’ll receive factory ready vector files for each pin in the set (as scoped in your order), plus clear notes on size, plating, and special effects such as glitter, screen print, or pin on pin. This tier includes additional design time and collaboration so the final collection feels cohesive and ready for production.

Backing Card Designs Included 
If you’d like your pins to arrive retail ready, a backing card will be required. We’ll design a custom card that matches your branding, exhibit, or location, including logo placement, title text, and any small storytelling details you’d like guests to see when they flip the card over.

If you are not manufacturing with us, you’ll receive a print ready file sized to your chosen card dimensions, which you can send directly to your preferred printer. Backing cards can be matched to a single pin or designed as a flexible template that works across a small series.

Special Request / Custom Scope
If your project doesn’t quite fit into any of the options above, such as 3D sculpted pins, moving mechanisms, highly technical designs, or a larger campaign, that's okay, just reach out. We’ll review your idea, talk through what’s possible in enamel, and create a custom scope that fits your goals and budget.
